ROM unveils Escapade 2.0

Anyone familiar with the ROM group from Eupen will probably know Escapade, a model range that can safely be called iconic.

The ROM group is now relaunching the collection as an independent brand on the European market. The ambition: to offer a new vision of contemporary furniture and appeal to a new generation of consumers. Escapade has its own identity, its own aesthetic language and a positioning that complements the existing ROM1961 collections. The goal? To achieve long-term growth.

ROM has always put ‘creation’ first, and that is no different today. The Belgian company works with many designers and has delivered nearly fifty collections in recent years through various brands: ROM1961, ROM One, ROM Tonight, as well as several collections developed as private labels. All these brands form an essential pillar of the group’s strategy. Now Escapade joins them, a project that design and R&D teams worked on for more than a year. The result? A collection with sculptural lines, more organic shapes and carefully selected materials. More expressive, bolder, yet still designed for everyday use. The first prototypes were received with great enthusiasm during a roadshow through France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

ROM can be found at Meubelbeurs Brussel in Hall 5.
