When Liborio Vincenzo Calia set up his own workshop in Matera more than 60 years ago,
in the heel of Italy, he knew he didn’t just want to create furniture.
His intention was clear: to make people feel good by creating designs that improve their lives. All those years (and generations) later, Calia Italia is a company that champions not only aesthetics but also social responsibility and authenticity. Liborio is no longer with us, but the Calia family continues his work with an eye on the future, without losing what has been built over all those decades.
