DIY - Homemade
Yes I can
Doing things yourself, devising, making, copying, repairing and improving things. To do this we use sound alternative raw materials and energy sources that spare nature – and consequently ourselves too.
We like handmade, traditional products, both authentic and fundamental. High-tech products are also given a tailormade or handmade look. ‘High-tech meets crafts’: digicraft.
We like natural products that bring nature back into our lives, either in fact or in feeling. The country feel comes to the city: backyard farming (vegetable garden) and city farming.
We like honest, authentic products that fulfil their promise. Quality labels are re-examined.
We share all our experiences and experiments with likeminded people in real and virtual encounters. Word of mouth (possibly online) becomes very important again.
